Rhea: Classic wooden sailing yacht, 54m length

The RHEA, launched in the spring of 2017, is, like her sister ship CHRONOS, one of the most beautiful sailing yachts in the world with her 1000 m² sail area and 54 m length, the name RHEA comes from Greek mythology and represents the mother of Zeus and companion of his father Cronus.The crew of 10, consisting of captain, chef, engineer, deck crew, stewardesses and waiters, will do their utmost to look after you with the utmost care and attention. She sails under the Dutch flag, meets the latest safety requirements and is equipped with modern navigation and sailing technology, in the style of a classic fixed-sail ketch. In addition to a spacious teak deck, there is a fully equipped bar, a saloon in the wheelhouse and further seating and dining options on the aft deck. 13 comfortable double cabins with air conditioning await you below deck.

RHEA staterooms are named after explorers. The beds in the 10 Deluxe (D) staterooms can be double, twin, single or family (up to 2.55m wide). Our 4 Long Staterooms (L) have fixed double beds. The largest and most beautiful stateroom is our Master Stateroom, which is even more spacious and also offers a large double bed. All cabins have their own bathroom/WC with shower cabin and air conditioning and heating. All cabins are equipped with wardrobe, hairdryer, towels, life jackets, fire extinguishers, air conditioning, and space under one of the beds to store luggage and other items.

Booking conditions

  • 20% to guarantee your place, with payment by bank transfer (pre-reservation).
  • Remaining 80% to be paid 30 days before the travel start date
  • Cancellation policy: 30% of the total price will be charged up to 120 days before the start of the trip, 60% between 120 and 30 days before the start of the trip, or 90% from 30 days before the start of the trip.
  • It is recommended to take out travel cancellation, baggage loss or damage, personal accident and medical insurance. Some credit cards already include this type of insurance.
  • The trip will be operated by Sailing Classics CV, a company based in the Netherlands, official and exclusive partner of Navega Mediterráneo in Spain.

Boarding information

  • Boarding takes place at 18.00 on the day of departure. Please coordinate later arrivals with us. If the ship is not moored in a harbour or basin, we will pick you up with dinghies at the agreed meeting point.
  • Disembarkation will take place at 10:00 a.m. on the last day of the trip, after breakfast.

  • Water sports on board without dinghy participation (sailing dinghy, wave kayaks, SUP, and snorkelling).
  • Unlimited dinghy transport to shore.
  • Accommodation in the cabin category you book.
  • Crew and nautical service costs.
  • Daily cleaning of cabins.
  • Full board on board.
  • Unlimited water, tea and filter coffee.
  • Water sports on board without dinghy participation (sailing dinghy, wave kayaks, SUP, and snorkelling).
  • Unlimited dinguhy transport to shore.
  • Bed linen, bath towels and beach towels.

Extras (Optional)

  • OPTIONAL: Possibility to book ½ Deluxe Stateroom with twin beds (sharing cabin with passenger of the same sex).

The price does not include

  • Arrival and departure to the different destinations.
  • Transfers.
  • Soft drinks, Nespresso and alcoholic beverages.
  • Water sports on board with dinghy participation (water skiing, wakeboarding, banana boat)
  • A dinner during the week to get to know the typical cuisine of the country.
  • Excursions and activities with guide on land.
  • Tipping (voluntary). We recommend between 5 and 10%.
  • OPTIONAL: Individual use of double cabin paying a supplement on the stipulated price. The cost of the surcharge is 50% in low season and 80% in high season on the corresponding rate.

Discounts

  • 5% for groups of at least 6 people.
  • 7% for groups of at least 12 people.
